Silks for Teens (Ages 12–16)
Level 1: Beginner Teens
Duration: 75 minutes — For new students only
This foundational class guides teens into climbs, graceful inversions, and controlled foot locks, all with mindful pacing and safe technique. Each lesson blends strength, artistry, and intention, building not only skill but also confidence. Students begin to express themselves through short sequences, developing a connection between movement and strength.
Students with prior experience should contact the studio for an evaluation and proper placement.
Level 2: Intermediate Teens
Duration: 75 minutes — Instructor placement required
Teens weave climbs, drops, and inversions into expressive routines. Class focuses on smooth transitions, spatial awareness, and using breath to shape movement. Students balance technical accuracy with creative exploration, deepening both skill and artistry.
Level 3: Advanced
Duration: 75 minutes — Instructor placement required
Here, mastery meets performance. Teens in Level 3 craft complex sequences and drop progressions with fluidity, musicality, and emotional depth. Building on the sequences of Level 2, this class challenges teens with more advanced drops, intricate wraps, and dynamic transitions. Students refine their technique, explore complex pathways in and out of skills, and develop performance-ready choreography.
